Focusing on Research in Data Science:

Advanced Analytics Engineering Center (AAEC)  focus is on inter and trans-disciplinary research with the aim to produce outputs that can be patented and have potential for commercialization. This center aims to build national and international linkages with industry, government and other universities. It will also serve as a referral centre for training and consultancy services. The research projects undertaken will be in line with the government policy of knowledge generation, wealth creation and, society and nation well being. The research focus areas are but not limited to: (1) Software Analytics, (2) Visual Analytics, (3) Optimization & Intelligent Systems, (4) Predictive and Big Data Analytics, (5) Data Modeling and Analytics, and (6) Information Systems.
